Kathmandu, Nepal: The United States President Barack Obama has congratulated to all the Nepalese on the auspicious occasion of the Constitution Day. Nepal is going to celebrate first Constitution Day on Monday.
US president Obama extended the congratulation by whiting a message to his Nepali counterpart President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday.
‘On this auspicious day, I want to assure you that the United States remains committed to advancing our relationship and helping Nepal achieve a brighter future, including the growth of Nepal’s hydropower potential, the development of its infrastructure, and the pursuit of justice for all affected by the tragic conflict,’ US president Obama has stated in the statement.
Referring to the devastating earthquake that rattled Nepal on April 25, 2015, US President has stated ‘We stand with you and all Nepalese who refuse to let tragedy overcome the desire for a better future.’
‘The United States will always admire the strength of Nepalis who have rebuilt their homes and their lives, and we will continue to do everything we can to support you in this effort, US president Obama has stated in the statement ‘democracies form natural bonds and we look forward to strengthening that bond in the years ahead.’
