Kathmandu, Nepal, August 4, 2023: At least 17 Nepalese have gone missing after falling into a landslide in Gaurikund in Uttar Pradesh, India.
It has been said that 10 people from Humla and 7 people from Jumla were missing after a hotel named as Gaurikund that was run by Bir Bahadur from Humla was swept away by the landslide.
It is said that owner of the hotel Bir Bahadur and his four family members are also missing in the landslide. It is said that the hotel was swept away at the time when the missing daily wages workers had gone there to have dinner.
