Guwahati, Nov 28 : The Assam Rifles had apprehended five militants of NSCN (KN) with arms in Nagaland's Dimapur area.
According to the reports, based on intelligence input, the troops of Assam Rifles conducted an operation in Dimapur area on Tuesday evening and nabbed the militants.
Security personnel had recovered three pistols with magazines, several rounds live ammunition, six mobile phone handsets, extortion letters in possession from them.
Later, the apprehendees and the recoveries were handed over to police for further investigation.
