Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepal’s CG Foods Nepal Limited, food production company of Nepal under the Chaudhary Group and India’s Bikaji Foods International Limited, a leading Indian food production company, have announced about their joint venture agreement to manufacture and market ethnic snacks in the Nepalese market.
The partnership has been established 50:50 ownership structure between Bikaji and CG Foods Nepal Limited. It is said that the joint venture is made for manufacturing, trading and marketing of Bikaji’s products. Ikaji is the food production company of bhujia, namkeen, papad, packaged sweets and snacks.
Bikaji used to be considered as an India’s third-largest ethnic snacks company. The company currently operates across 25 Indian states and exports to 25 countries.
