Rautahat, Nepal: at least four people killed and three others injured seriously when a passenger bus and a private car collided head-on with at Adhabhar in Bara district on Saturday morning.
The deceased have been identified as car driver Dipak Thapa Magar, 23, of Mangaltar, Khotang, Mahendra Ale, 28, Kumari Thapa, 25 and her 11-year-old son Dilip Magar.
All the deceased were traveling in the car with registration number Ba 12 Cha 8290. Driver had died on the spot while other passengers had died while receiving treatment at local hospital.
The accident had occurred when a bus with registration number Na 6 Kha 6854, bound for Narayangadh from Birgunj collided head-on with the coming from the opposite direction. The accident had occurred at around 7:30 am on Saturday.
The injured passengers have been identified as Kamal Ale of Sunsari, his wife Yashoda Ale and their daughter Ahana Ale. All are injured are reported as critical in condition.
