Kathmandu, Nepal, August 11, 2024: Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri is arriving in Kathmandu today at the invitation of Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal.
During his two day stay in Kathmandu, Indian Foreign Secretary Misri is scheduled to hold high l;ebel bilateral talks.
As Indian Foreign Secretary Misri’s scheduled visit to Kathmandu is the first high level visit from neighboring India after formation of the incumbent coalition government between the Nepali Congress and the CPN UML, it is taken importantly from different sectors.
It is said that Indian Foreign Secretary Misri will focus on advancing bilateral relations and exploring new areas of cooperation, building on recent high-level exchanges. The visit is anticipated to reinforce the close and multifaceted relationship between the neighboring countries.
