Arghakhanchi, Nepal: Alleging the government for not responding to their demands, the Joint Struggle Committee at Arghakhanchi district has resumed its general strike against the constitution amendment bill registered in the parliament.  
 
The joint struggle committee has made public the protest program during a press conference here on Saturday. As per the protest program, the general will be continued on December 10 and 11 at the different parts of the district including at district headquarter, Sandhikharka, to press the government to withdraw the bill registered in the parliament.
 
Not only in the local people at Arghakhanci district but also the people of remaining districts of the province 5 namely Gulmi, Palpa, Piutah, and Rolpa have been protesting the bill.
 
The people of the province 5 have been protesting since November 29 after the government registered the constitution amendment bill in Parliament proposing to split five hill districts from the Province 5.
 
As per the announced protest program, youths hold a whistle rally on Saturday while women will hit the streets on Sunday by displaying utensils. It is said that strike will be resumed with different program after December 15.
