Kathmandu, Nepal, March 18, 2021: coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 275,625, after 107 new cases reported in the past 24 hours on Thursday.
Of the total infected cases of coronavirus from across the country, 57 cases were recorded in Kathmandu valley alone, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has said.
Likewise, 60 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 271,610 that equals to 98.5 per cent.
Meanwhile, death toll due to the infection of coroanvirus advances to 3,015 after one fatality related to the infection of virus reported in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 1,000 active cases of coronavirus across the country. Of them, only 52 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities.
