Kathmandu, Nepal, July 16, 2021: Nepal recorded 2006 new coronavirus infection cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Friday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 664576.
Meanwhile, 1775 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 628243.
Likewise, 43 more deaths related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally advanced to 9506.
There are currently 26837 active cases of coronavirus infections across the country. Of them, only 421 individuals have been staying in quarantine facilities across the country.
