Stockholm, Sweden: The Annual General Assembly (AGM) of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) National Coordination Council (NCC) Sweden has been successfully concluded.
The assembly approved the organization’s annual progress report and financial report for the fiscal year 2025–2026 after detailed discussions among members. The meeting also reviewed the organization’s future plans, including membership expansion, community-oriented programs, increased participation of youth and women, sports activities, and initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting the Nepali language and culture in Sweden.
During the AGM, members shared their valuable suggestions and ideas for further strengthening the organization. Participants appreciated NRNA NCC Sweden’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and community service, while expressing their hope that the organization would become more empowered, inclusive, and united in the days ahead.
NRNA NCC Sweden reaffirmed its commitment to continuously working for the welfare and empowerment of the Nepali community in Sweden while embracing the core values of “unity, service, and cooperation.”
The organization expressed heartfelt gratitude to former presidents, chief guests, special guests, advisors, executive committee members, general members, volunteers, and supporters who contributed to the successful completion of the AGM through both physical and virtual participation.
NRNA NCC Sweden stated that it will continue implementing community-focused initiatives to strengthen the Nepali diaspora in Sweden and promote Nepali identity, language, and culture among future generations.
