Pay tributes to martyrs on I-Day hoisting Tri-colour: SSP

Guwahati: Sangbadik Sangha Purbanchal, while urging every citizen in eastern India to hoist the national Tri-colour on 74th Independence Day on 15 August 2020 in their households and localities following the Covid-19 pandemic protocols, invites interested media persons and patriotic citizens to join its celebration at Industrial Estate Bamunimaidam (shed no. 28-a, bye-lane 2) in the city.

Remembering the sacrifices of India’s valiant freedom fighters, the forum decides to unfurl the Tri-colour at 10 am, where limited participants are expected to pay tributes to the countless martyrs of India’s freedom struggle, said a statement issued by the SSP convener committee (comprising Rupam Barua, Nava Thakuria, Jagadindra Raychoudhury, Anjanil Kashyap, Iswar Mahanta, Chandra Kr Barua, and Sewali Kalita).
