Kathmandu, Nepal, April 17, 2019: Senior journalist Pushkar Lal Shrestha passed away at the age of 60 on Wednesday.
Shrestha, who is also the founding chairperson of the Kamana Publications, the publishing company of popular Nepali daily Nepal Samacharpatra and others, breathed his last at Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital.
Seriously ailing Shrestha was admitted lately at the hospital for treatment. Earlier, he was admitted at Haryana-based Medanta Hospital in India and Medicity hospital in Nepal.
Shrestha had been suffering from the multiple ailments after he had undergone a nose surgery and later a kidney stone removal surgery at a hospital in Kathmandu.
Shrestha is survived by his spouse and three sons.
