Kathmandu, Nepal, September 13, 2022: Nepal has trounced Sri Lanka by 6-0 goals in its second match or semi-final match under the 6th women's SAFF Championship football tournament on Monday. With the win, Nepal has now reached on the semi-finals.
In the match held at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor, Nepal registered its second win in the tournament.
In Monday’s match, Amisha Karki become success to score two goals while Saru Limbu, Rashmi Kumari Ghising, Amrita Jaisi and Deepa Shahi scored one goal each to make Nepal's victory.
Nepal will have to play with the runners up of Group ‘A’—one among Bangladesh and India—in the semi-final scheduled for Friday. Bangladesh and India have also already made it to the semi-final from Group ‘A’ after two wins each but the group topper will be determined only after two sides vie in their last group match on Tuesday.
