Kathmandu, Nepal, June 18, 2021: The Upendra Yadav-led faction of the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) has demanded official recombination of the party.
A team of office bearers of the faction led by Upendra Yadav demanded so by meeting to the office bearers of the Election Commission (EC) on Friday.
As we command majorities in the party’s central committee, we deserve official reorganization as the JSP a leader of the party said while merging from the meeting.
A meeting of the Yadav led faction of the party held on last Thursday decided to seek official reorganization as JSP.
The differences of the JSP has landed at the EC after the party vertically divided into two factions- one is led by Yadav while another is led by Mahanta Thakur.
As the Thakur led faction joined the incumbent government, the party had come to division into two factions.
