Acting Chief Justice Karki Retires From The Post Due To Age Limit Yf 65 years

Kathmandu, Nepal, September 25, 2022: Supreme Court (SC) Acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki has retired from the post due to the age limit of 65 years. 

He was bidden farewell amid a function on Sunday due to the Dashain holidays are going to start from October 2 though his 65 years age limit is going to end on October 3, 2022.

Karki had been taking the leadership of the Supreme Court as the acting Chief Justice in the capacity of senior Justice after an impeachment motion was registered against Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana in the federal Parliament on February 13.
