Anand for press club screening

Guwahati: Popular Hindi movie ‘Anand’ will be screened at Guwahati Press Club on Friday (24 August). Screening of the 1971 Indian dramacfilm, directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, will begin at 5 pm. Anothercshow at 3 pm is also on the card.

The movie stars Rajesh Khanna in the lead role with Amitabh Bachchan,cSumita Sanyal, Ramesh Deo and Seema Deo. It has cinematography bycJaywant Pathare and music by Salil Chowdhury. The film is looselycinspired by Akira Kurosawa’s 1952 made ‘Ikiru’.
