Kathmandu, Nepal, March 2, 2021: Pushpa Kamal Dahal, a chair of the Dahal-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has claimed that Election Commission (EC) will grant the party’s legitimacy to their faction.
The EC is going to recognize our faction as the legitimate party with election symbol- Sun within few days, Dahal said while addressing a gathering organized by his faction of the party in Kathmandu on Monday.
Dahal has made the remark at the time when the legitimacy debate of the ruling NCP is hanged in the EC since few months.
Following the technical division of the ruling NCP, both the factions have knocked the door of the EC claiming legitimacy of their faction as the official party with election symbol- Sun.
