Suspected black money found in Guwahati in torn condition

Guwahati, November 14: Suspected black money worth above Rs 30 lakh was found in a drain in Guwahati in torn condition on Monday morning. 
 
Local people had spotted the huge amount of the torn notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 in a drain at Ghoramara Chandan Nagar in the city on Monday morning and immediately informed to police. 
 
Later police had seized samples from the heap for forensic tests. 
 
On the other hand some people had spotted huge amount of notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 which packed in a polyethylene bag at Bahini river near Rukminigaon in the city on Monday. 
 
Meanwhile people are standing in queues in front of ATM's to collect cash across the state.
