Guwahati : Security forces had recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from hills area along Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border on Sunday.
According to the reports, based on intelligence input Sonitpur district police had launched operation at Dipanjali hills area and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition which believe to be used by outlawed group NDFB (S).
Security personnel had recovered one 303 rifle, a gun, one pistol, one hand grenade, 50 rounds live ammunition, magazine from the area.
A top police official said that, suspected NDFB (S) militants had hidden the arms and ammunition at the remote area.
