Kathmandu, Nepal: Following the commitment of the Nepali Congress (NC) leaders including the party president Sher Bahadur Deuba, Nepal Students Union (NSU), the student wing of the NC, leaders broke the fast-unto-death on Wednesday. 
 
NSU former central member Ganesh Sapkota and Ratna Hari Dhungel, Ramechap district former Vice-chair Dhungel, had been staging fast-unto-death demanding for general convention of the Union as per the statute.
 
Nepali Congress President Deuba had juice to the striking leaders to break the fast-unto-death. Party leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula and many others were also present to offer juice.
