Kathmandu, Nepal: The newly appointed Secretary General of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Amjada Hussain B. Sial took charge of his office in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Pakistani national Sial assumed the office as the ne SAARC Secretary General replacing Nepal’s Arjun Bahadur Thapa. Thapa’s term as the Secretary General had ended on Tuesday.
