Kathmandu, Nepal, June 9, 2023: National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and the National Human Rights Committee of Qatar (NHRCQ) have signed in an agreement to protect and promote the Human Rights of Nepalese migrant workers in Qatar.
Both the national human rights bodies signed in the agreement amid a function on Thursday. The agreement was signed for three years.
With the agreement complaints can be filed with the Human Rights Committee of Qatar about the violation of the human rights of Nepalis who have reached Qatar for employment.
It is believed that this agreement will play an important role in protecting the rights and rights of Nepali workers working in Qatar.
