Kathmandu, Nepal: Normal life across the Kathmandu valley adversely affected due to the Bandha (General strike) called by Netra Bikram Chanda led CPN Maoist Center, a splinter faction of the Nepali Maoist.
Almost all the educational institutions, shops and industries have pulled down their shutters from early morning, due to the fear of attack though security personnel have been mobilized in the streets.
Police have arrested dozens of bandh enforcers from different places of the Kathmandu Valley.
People are compelled to walk to their destination though some public and private vehicles have stayed off the roads.
