Kathmandu, Nepal: It is likely that Speaker Onsari Gharti is going to announce impeachment recommendation committee today to recommend about the impeachment against Lok Man Singh Karki, Chief Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).
As lawmakers from almost all the major political parties raised the voice against the apathy to initiate the process to impeach against Karki at the legislative meeting on Tuesday, Speaker Gharti is planning to announce 11 members such a committee today, a source close to the secretariat of the parliament said.
It is said that major political parties and Speaker Gharti have already agreed to form an impeachment recommendation committee.
