PHC unanimously endorses the name of Shrestha as the Chief Justice

Kathmandu, Nepal, August 21, 2023: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC) has unanimously endorsed the name of Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha as the Chief Justice (CJ) of the Supreme Court (SC), the apex court of the country.

With the endorsement, President Ram Chandra Paudel will appoint Shrestha as the CJ, the head of judiciary of Nepal.
