Prachanda led government decides first to provide Rs 100,000 to the floods victims

Kathmandu, Nepal: The first meeting of the cabinet held on Thursday decided to provide Rs 100,000 as of compensation to the victims of recent floods and landslides across the nation.
 
The government led by CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has made the decision through the cabinet decision held on Thursday evening at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
 
The meeting has also assigned Deputy Prime Minister and minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara to work as the government spokesperson until appointment of the Minister for Information and Communications.
