Kathmandu, Nepal, July 15, 2023: Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka has promised to fulfill the promise he made to the people during the election within five years.
Deputy Prime Minister Khadka, who is also the vice president of Nepali Congress, said so while inaugurating the local administration office at Gurbhakot-7 Gokulpur in his home district of Surkhet on Saturday.
“I would like to promise to fulfill the commitments made to the people during the election, even though the country's economy is in a difficult state.” He said.
With the establishment of the current government, the development and construction works are progressing despite the unfavorable economic situation of the country and the government is doing the works according to the expectations of the people, Khadka said.
"I am committed to fulfill the promise what I made to the people within five years, important development plans have progressed in Karnali, Surkhet and the areas where I was elected, even in the adverse economic situation of the country, " Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Khadka said.
