Kathmandu, Nepal: The government has on Friday decided to provide Rs 1 million each to the families of those killed during the Madhes Movement.
A Cabinet meeting held in Singha Durbar on Friday afternoon made the decision. Earlier, the government’s representatives and the agitating Federal Alliance (FA) had made the agreement to this effect.
The cabinet meeting has also decided to provide free treatment to those injured in the Madhes movement. Likewise, the cabinet meeting has also decided to initiate the process for releasing those detainees during the course of Mades Movement within one week.
