Kathmandu, Nepal: Newly elected Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been sworn in as the 39th Prime Minister of Nepal from the president Bidya Devi Bhandari amid a special function at Sitla Niwas on Thursday.
Following the sworn in of Dahal as the Prime Minister , Nepali Congress lawmaker Bimalendra Nidhi and CPN Maoist Center lawmaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara have also been sworn in as a Deputy Prime Ministers.
Likewise, Nepal Congress lawmaker Ramesh Lekhak and CPN Maoist Center lawmaker duo Daljit Sripali and Gauri Shankar Chaudhari have also taken the oath of office and secrecy as ministers.
In the oath taking ceremony, Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Chief Justice Sushila Karki, Speaker Onsari Gharti and many dignitaries including ambassadors from different countries and diplomatic missions were also present in the oath taking ceremony.
