Kathmandu, Nepal: At least seven people including a newborn died when a Fishtail Air helicopter crash in Madanpur of Nuwakot district on Monday.
The helicopter with call sign 9N-AKA crashed in a forest in Madanpur-9 of the district. The helicopter was ferrying a patient among others from remote Philim of Gorkha district for Kathmandu.
The victims include four persons of a single family. The deceased have been identified as Kitman Gurung, 60 from Philim, Sirdiwas-2, his 56-year-old wife Agyani, their 19-year-old daughter-in-law Priti and Priti’s newborn child.
