Palpa, Nepal, April 29, 2019: At least five passengers died and one injured when a passenger jeep that was carrying the bridegroom’s procession met with an accident in Palpa district on Monday.
The ill-fated passenger jeep with registration number Lu 1 Jha 1941 that was heading to Bhirpani from Huwas of Nisdi rural municipality veered off the road in Palpa.
Among the 12 passengers of the Jeep, sixth passenger jumped off the driving vehicle to stay alive.
The deceased are yet to be ascertained.
