Kathmandu, Nepal: The Legislature-Parliament formed 11 members impeachment recommendation committee. Speaker Onsari Gharti announced the formation of the committee during the meeting of the parliament on Wednesday.
 
The Legislative Parliament has announced the impeachment recommendation committee responding to the widespread demands to impeach Lokman Singh Karki, Chief Commissioner at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).
 
In the committee, four lawmakers each from Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML, two from CPN (Maoist Center) and one from Rastriya Prajatantra Party- Nepal (RPP-N) are named as the members of the committee.
 
According to the parliament, Nepali Congress lawmakers Farmullah Mansoor , Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, Deepak Kuinkel and Kumari Laxmi Rai, UML lawmakers  Rewati Raman Bhandari, Sushila Karki, Keshav Badal and Parbat Gurung, CPN Maoist Center lawmakers Amanlal Modi and Ram Narayan Bidahi and RPP-N’s Dilnath Giri are named as the members of the committee.
