Kathmandu, Nepal, June 1, 2021: A Founder chairman of the Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Ujjwal Thapa, has passed away while receiving treatment at Nepal Mediciti Hospital on Tuesday. He was 44 years old.
Milan Pandey, chairman of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, has confirmed of Thapa’s death by issuing a press statement on Monday afternoon. He breathed his last at 4:25 PM on Tuesday, states the press release.
He was admitted at HAMS hospital after he tested positive of COVID-19. Although he tested negative for the virus, his health was critical due to severe lungs infection. Before being shift to Mediciti Hospital, Thapa was also admitted at Grande Hospital in Kathmandu.
