Kathmandu, Nepal: The parliament’s meeting has been adjourned again for 15 minutes, the second time on Tuesday after lawmakers of the main opposition party Nepali Congress demonstrated against the government’s decision to keep the two hospitals under the provincial government and the national medical education bill presented by the government in the parliament.

As the Nepali Congress lawmakers barred Minister for Education Giriraj Mani Pokhrel from tabling the medical education bill in the parliament, Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes.

The parliament’s meeting has also halted for 15 minutes after Nepali Congress lawmakers demonstrated against the government’s decision to keep the two hospitals under the provincial government and the bill presented going against the past agreements reached with agitating Dr. Govinda KC.
