Kathmandu, Nepal, December 15, 2020: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has on Tuesday issued an ordinance to amends the prevailing working procedure of the Constitutional Council (CC).
President Bhandari amended the ordinance on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers as per Article 114 of the Constitution of Nepal.
With the amendment, the CC can take decision instead of presence of all members.
Meanwhile, CC meeting, which was supposed to take place earlier this morning, has been rescheduled for 5:00 pm today.
The meeting was postponed after speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Agni Sapkota skipped the meeting.
