Kathmandu, Nepal, September 26, 2021: The 10th National General Convention of the CPN-UML commenced on the bank of Narayani River in Chitwan from Friday.
The General Convention is inaugurated by its Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Oli amidst a grand function. Hundreds of thousands delegate members and cadres of the UML have thronged at Chitwan to take part in the general convention.
Following the inauguration ceremony, the convention will transform into close session and election process to elect 210 central committee members and 15 office bearers for the coming four years term.
The UML has amended its statue with the provision of incorporating in the office bearers including one senior vice-chairperson, four vice-chairpersons, a general secretary, a deputy general secretary, and seven secretaries.
