Cabinet meeting ended without declaring the date for local body elections

 Kathmandu, Nepal : A cabinet meeting held on Monday ended inconclusively thanks to the difference between the government allies over the issue of declaring the date for the local body elections.

Though the meeting was called with intent to announce the date for the local body elections, Prime Minister ended the meeting without making any concert decisions about the elections.

IIt is said that the ministers represent to the Nepali Congress had demanded to announce the date for the local body elections today.But Prime Minister Dahal ended the meeting saying that further discussions are needed before announcing the date, A minister said preferring to anonymity.
