Kathmandu, Nepal: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has marked its establishment day amid a function in Kathmandu on Friday.
Addressing the function organized by the CIAA, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal suggested the office bearers of the CIAA to keep in mind about the prestige of a personality while investigating corruption cases.
The CIAA should pay attention to whether its act is defaming a person while investigating the personality, Prime Minister Dahal said.
During the function, CIAA acting chief Deep Basnyat demanded to reinstate the jurisdiction of the commission curtailed by the new constitution.
