Chitwan, Nepal: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has revealed that the Constitution amendment bill was tabled at the Parliament in understanding with the opposition parties including the main opposition CPN UML.
The ruling and opposition parties had made an understanding to table the bill in the parliament though the opposition parties had protested while tabling the bill.
The government had tabled the bill at the parliament amid the protest from the opposition parties. Dahal, wh is also the chairman of the ruling head CPN Maoist Center said so while speaking with the media persons in Chitwan on Monday morning.
As major three political parties- Nepali Congress, the CPN-UML and the CPN Maoist Centre had already agreed to resolve the current crisis in consensus and lead the nation toward elections, we had made agreement to let function the parliament, Dahal said.
