Jajarkot, Nepal, April 20, 2023: At least four people were killed and four others injured when an under-construction Bailey bridge over the Bheri River collapsed at Tallu, Nalgadh Municipality-12 in Jajarkot district.
The police have confirmed the accident. However, the names and addresses of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
Likewise, two persons were killed on the spot in a road accident along the East-West Highway at Lalbandi Municipality-6.
According to the reports, the deceased have been identified as Shrawan Kumar Mahato of Gaushala Municipality-11 in Mahottari and his nephew Bikram Kumar Mahato.
The accident took place when a truck that was heading towards Ranigunj from Lalbandi hit a motorcycle with registration number Na 33 Pa 7513 going in the same direction.
