Kathmandu, Nepal: The Parliament Secretariat has postponed the House meeting till next Sunday, January 8. The meeting was called for 1 pm on Tuesday.
Though the House meeting used to postpone due to the obstruction from the opposition parties including the main opposition CPN UML, the parliament Secretariat postponed the meeting without any obvious reason.
In the notice issued to inform about the postponement of the meeting Parliament’s Secretariat Manohar Prasad Bhattarai has stated that the meeting could not be held on Tuesday due to ‘special reasons.
’
The opposition parties including the main opposition UML has been obstructing the parliament since November 29 to protest the constitution amendment bill registered in the parliament.
