Pokhara, Nepal: The 1o year old rape and murder victim Shriya Sunar’s body has been cremated in Pokhara on Wednesday.
The victim minor had found dead on September 25 morning with severe injuries on her forehead and marks of a strangled neck.
Her neighbor, 27-year-old Kusum Paudel of Pumdibhumdi of Kaski has confessed to the crime.
The third-grade student at Lila Adharbhut School was raped and murdered by Poudel while she had gone to buy biscuit.
She had been living at her mother's maternal home after her father's second marriage.
