Kathmandu, Nepal, March 23, 2021: The main Opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has raised serious objections against the alleged undue pressure exerted by the education minister at the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) while assigning to the office bearers.
Issuing a press statement on Monday, NC Education Department’s Secretary Dr. Krishna Prasad Poudel objected to the education minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha’s alleged undue pressure at the TSC against the rule and the regulations.
It has come to know that education minister has been exerting pressure on the recommendation of the selection committee formed comprising the Tribhuvan University Vice Chancellor and Education Ministry’s Secretary to change the recommendation, states the statement.
The NC has also demanded to complete the selection process as per the Education Act 1971 and Teachers Service Commission Regulations 2000.
