Kathmandu, Nepal, September 20, 2023: Constitution Day- 2080 BS (2023) is being marked amid a different program in Kathmandu on Wednesday..
On the auspicious occasion of the constitution day, the main function committee has hosted a special ceremony at the Army Pavilion, Tundikhel in Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel attended the ceremony as a chief guest.
In the function, Vice-President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Chief Justice Bishowambhar Shrestha, National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, acting Prime Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, ministers, parliamentarians, constitutional bodies' chiefs and office-bearers, diplomatic mission chiefs and representatives, government employees and journalists also present in the function.
Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force performed march-past with cultural performances. Colorful balloons and pigeons as peace symbols were also released to mark the constitution day.
