Kathmandu, Nepal, July 13, 2024: The police have been mobilized since Saturday morning to search for two buses that fell into the Trishuli River from Simaltal located in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 of Chitwan.
The armed police has started searching using water drones and sonar cameras. However, no trace of the missing buses has been found so far.
Bagmati Deluxe bus with registration number-Bagmati Pradesh-03-001 B 2495 that was going to Gaur from Kathmandu and the Angel Deluxe bus with registration number Bagmati Pradesh-03-006 B 1516 that was coming from Birgunj to Kathmandu were swept away by the landslide at around 3:30 am on Friday morning.
It is believed that at least 65 people would have missing in the river aling with the buses.
