Kathmandu, Nepal: Sita Air’s Dornier aircraft escaped from the accident on Thursday.
A DO 228 aircraft was made a safe emergency landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Thursday after the failure in one of its engines.
The aircraft had noticed the failure in the engine immediately after it took off from Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla at 12:09 pm. The plane was landed safely at 12:43 pm at TIA.
The passengers and crew members escaped unhurt. Seven passengers and three crew members were on board.
