Kathmandu, Nepal, July 11, 2023: The bodies of all the six people who lost their lives in the Manang Air helicopter crash have been brought to Kathmandu for post-mortem at the teaching hospital on Tuesday.
A Manang Air helicopter that was flying from Solukhumbu to Kathmandu met with an accident at Likhupike in Solukhumbu. In that accident, 5 passengers from the North American country of Mexico and pilot Chet Bahadur Gurung died.
The dead Mexican citizen from a single family are identified as Fernando Sifugnates, Rincon Ismael, Aberica Gonzalez, Olasio Gonzalez and Maria Jose Sifuntes.
According to the Immigration Department, they came to visit Nepal on a 15-day visit visa. The deceased Mexican family’s addresses were mentioned in Coahuila and Nieuvolion in northern Mexico.
