Kathmandu, Nepal, June 16, 2023. Parliamentary Hearing Committee unanimously approved the name of Harikrishna Karki as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
Following the question answer session, Karki's name was approved by the Parliamentary Hearing Committee on Friday. Karki had submitted his action plan on Thursday.
After the approval of the name by the parliamentary hearing committee, the name will be recommended for appointment to the President.
During the question and answer session, Karki had said that he would resign from the post if any of the allegations labeled against him were proven.
