Kathmandu, Nepal:  Though the government had on Tuesday registered the constitution amendment proposal with the aim to make content to the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF), an alliance of major Madhes-based parties, the agitating UDMF has officially said that it could not accept the Constituent amendment bill registered by the government.

A meeting of the UDMF held on Wednesday concluded to protest the constitution amendment bill alleging that the bill failed to address demands raised by Madhesis, indigenous communities and other marginalized groups and communities of the country.
