Kathmandu, Nepal : The United States of America has expressed its serious concern about rising violance in Nepal.
Expressing concerns over the incident of clash between the polic and the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) that left three dead and dozen injured on Monday the US embassy in Kathmandu has said issuing a statement to express its concerns.
The right to peacefully express one’s political views is a fundamental component of an inclusive democracy, but violence should not be part of the political discourse, reads the statement.
Likewise the US embassy has also called on Nepali security forces to exercise maximum restraint while people express their democratic rights.
